Kessel Backwater Valves

Damage caused by backwater flooding from the mains sewer is extremely expensive and disruptive. Prevention is easy.

Simply ensure that all below ground areas with open drainage fixtures are protected by a Kessel Backwater Valve.

The Staufix® Backwater Valve range manufactured by Kessel are equipped with free hanging vertical backwater flaps. These flaps ensure that the building's wastewater freely flows outwards through the valve, whilst at the same time prevent any backwater from backing up into the building.

Kessel is internationally renowned for quality and performance, and here in the UK and Ireland their Backwater Protection range is only available through Fernco Environmental.

The Kessel Backwater Valve Range

BS EN 13564 classifies backwater valves, also known as 'anti flood valves', from Type 0 to Type 5. Fernco Environmental offers the complete range. Furthermore, components are available separately so the valves can be upgraded.
