New Partnership with Biosol Announced

Through an advanced system of wastewater microbial control, Biosol reduces operational costs, capital expenditure and greenhouse gas emissions.

New Partnership with Biosol Announced

Biosol, invented in Australia by Ross Chandler, is a patented solution applied into wastewater sewers. The advanced system minimises build up of fats, oils, grease and biosolids in the sewerage system.

In turn, this reduces sewer corrosion caused by high acidity, and due to the significantly reduced presence of FOGs, brings down blockage rates and increases the hydraulic performance of the pipe.

The result is lower maintenance costs, higher efficiency and less financial and operational expense.

Biosol

To represent the process of Biosol working in a wastewater environment, Fernco Environmental have designed a new Biosol logo - see above. Described in its most basic terms, Biosol operates by manipulating the relationship between carbon molecules and bacteria in the wastewater. The hexagon on the left represents a carbon molecule, the curve represents a single bacterial cell, and the green link shows the Biosol product working between them.

Log onto the Biosol website for more information, or call the office on 01226 340 222.
